SOMERSET EAST
WOW! The Victory was an amazing success in Somerset-East, thanks to everyone’s total commitment and utter devotion to God! While we were rehearsing on Saturday, before the first show, a man came into the hall to ask for prayer and gave his life to the Lord.
Somerset-East is a very small town in the Eastern-Cape, about an hour and a half’s drive from Port Elizabeth. Some of the cast members were farmers and had to drive up 140km per night for at least 10 nights. The ministry team, of roughly 50 people, had so much love to give to those that needed it; it was like being in the presence of God.
The production only ran for 4 evenings and the crowds just became progressively bigger every night. We tried to extend the production with two or three shows but unfortunately the hall had been booked in advance for a couple of evenings thereafter. All in all we had an estimate of 750 guests and 262 salvations. All the glory to God for preparing the hearts of those who came to watch because nobody left there without being touched in one way or the other! Thank you to the cast, technical team and ministry team for your devotion and for being open to learn and receive instruction. Everybody’s efforts were fantastic which contributed to the high quality of the end result.

A special thank you to Werner and Mia van Eeden for opening their home to accommodate me and to pastor Hennie and Suzette Liebenberg for your amazing work in Somerset-East. Thank you Jesus that you are the author and finisher of our faith and the work done in Somerset-East. Glory to God! Amen.
There have already been talks of a follow up production, so watch this space!
